We have partially open for 3 weeks for collections and the phone hasn’t stopped ringing it’s been busy with lots of customers wanting to give us new work.

We had a backlog before lockdown now it’s grown even more being shut for 12 weeks

We all hoped this year would be more productive but sadly we are faced with uncertainty about the future with the effects of the corona Virus.

What a year so far working against the ever increasing passage of Time. We have tried to keep up and reduce the waiting time to only be presented with more problems. We are still hopeful of someone joining us and being able to pass over the skills of the Trade.

I am sure you all feel the same where did 2018.

We had hopes to develop the shop site and set up teaching slots but the unusual high demand for our services kept us so busy.

We started New Year with goals to achieve and before we can take it in we are in September. Due to an increase in our workload I have had to concentrate on the repairs and Restorations before any other projects.

It is strange that the popularity of certain clocks has diminished but the workload has increased substantially across the board, the phrase I keep hearing is “we are so happy to have found you, we have been looking around but couldn't find anyone to do what you can do!!” and I can appreciate what they mean as I have been looking for someone to work on a part-time basis for sometime now so hence the long waiting lists.

Well another year is coming to a close and we would like to thank all our customers and take this opportunity to wish you a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Expanding the workshop to downstairs has been wonderful for customers who over past years have carried their Clocks and Barometers up the iron staircase. We hope next year to have more clocks ,Barometers and the unusual to sell and will be setting up a virtual shop for you to browse at your leisure

Buying clocks can be a minefield these days with Internet Auctions, Ebay and Auction Houses all vying for your custom. All avenues have their pitfalls sometimes a clock may be bought for what seems a cheap price but in most of the above cases it's buyer beware!
